Our best team selection will not be possible due to injury recovery. The likes of Song, Obiang, Sakho will be on the bench (Obiang not even that) so I still think we will start as we finished against Everton unless Slav really does "mix it up" as some are predicting.
Scott Parker has said the game depends on the duel between Alli / Dier and Noble / Kouyate. It will be key but Erikssen is another weneed to shackle. Not sure who will do that?
The formation we used in our first game at Arsenal might be the answer? We played Oxford as a deep lying midfield addition in front of the back four and relied on the counter. He struggled in the next home game against the more physical Leicester I think but that role against Spuds will be useful. Obiang like I say is probably not ready as he would have been ideal for it.
A very tough game this one. Not expecting too much but again I look for the performance even if we do not win. The only game where performance was a problem so far was out last outing at Watford so lets hope we are not second to everything like we were there.
I suppose the only upside of the Payet injury if there can be one is that we have to do something different and perhaps introduce Song or Antonio later into the game?
As always, it will be stressful watching but then again every West Ham game is for me. 50 odd years and still I cannot relax even when we are 3 up (remember Southampton, Wimbledon etc... and 3-4 loses) :-)

Tough game this against an inform Spurs side who haven't lost since the opening day. Pretty much everything in an attacking sense goes through Eriksen, so limiting his influence will be one of the main tasks today.
Sakho starts if fit, we have struggled without his movement upfront, which is not only a nuisance to the oppositions defence it also creates a lot of room for our attacking midfielders.

Spurs have a very solid defence but all defences no matter how good they are hate pace and trickery and we have plenty of that with, moses, Lanzini, Sakho and Zarate

Having just watched MOTD, we have to take the game to them in the same manner as Liverpool did against City.
Their front 3 of Firminio,Coutinho and Lallana are very similar to our 3 of Zarate,Lanzini and Sakho. They will have to press from the start and chase like mad. Zarate in particular had to be switched. He's got a great chance to cement a place for the next 3 months, he has to play for the team and know when to release that killer pass.

PD..yep it's an early/late one.
I will kid myself that I'll be able to record it and watch in the morning.
But the reality is ill toss and then and be awake when it kicks off

Spurs have a wonderful.well balanced deeply well equipped squad v
Possibly the best in the premier division.
But we will still beat them because our match day squad is well orga nised and has greater variety.of talent.
